I was born in Penza (Russia) in 1967.

My biography is not characteristic for artist. After school I'd entered the Moscow Physical Technical Institute. On the one hand to avoid conscription in SA, and on the other hand because all my kith and kin were engineers or scientists. But I was mildly interested in physics.

And in 1987 I began to exercise painting. By cut-and-try method I groped for my own style. In a sense my action associates the nature, with its natural selection and the outside ambient. In one of the articles my style has been named "romantic surrealism". I'm not romantic and I don't like surrealism nevertheless this definition seems exact.

I exhibited my works in any Russian galleries, there are some my pictures in individual collection in Moscow, Washington DC and in Israel. I generally make my pictures as serial. Now I have about twenty serials of graphic art (drawing in pencil, gouache on paper) and about ten serials of oil painting.
